Testing by simulation and emulation of production changes even before they are build.
A production process is designed in such a way that with one ‘push on the button’ we can change very flexible from one production process to another.
The realisation of a complete automation process is needed up front for this ‘push on the button’.
Van den Akker Electric engineering b.v. works active for renewal by the simulation / emulation process.
Here a complete factory is simulated in a computer (think of a flight simulator). We use this virtual production model to first test the various production scenario’s and to find possible ‘bottlenecks’ and to solve and optimize them.
We are going even further in our simulation, we use it also to test the PLC software actively (emulation) and to give seminars to operators. This way the production scenario’s are tested, personell is already getting used with the actual operation panels and our developed control software is tested even before the complete production process is build.
